History and nature – Etna volcano and Taormina
Meeting with the staff and the rest of the group at the selected meeting point and departure to Etna volcano, the highest volcano still active in Europe (3.345mt). Upon arrival, free time to visit the Silvestri Craters.
Then departure for Taormina, a beautiful and romantic town on the slopes of the Mount Tauro (204m). Time at leisure and independent visit to the famous Greek Roman Theatre, from where you can admire an amazing view of the Etna volcano and the Taormina Bay.
Later, drive back to Palermo.
Meeting point – Please be at the meeting point 20 minutes before the tour departure.
The rate includes:
- Multilanguage staff;
- Vehicle for transportation with air conditioning.
The rate does not include:
- Meals and beverages;
- Guided visit of Taormina;
- Entry tickets to monuments, to be paid on site;
- Etna volcano ascent fee.
