Arts and Crafts, City Tours, Cultural Tours, Unconventional
Near the Teatro Massimo there is a precious embroidery workshop, the first stop on the tour and a reference point since the days of the women of Casa Florio for the creation of personalised trousseaus. Next, it will be the turn of the ancient art of silver and gold workmanship that is still handed down in the streets between the historic centre and the Cala in Palermo.
Through alleyways that hide aristocratic palaces, you will also visit fine places for leather and hide work, where you can buy, order or just admire.
The tour will continue through the historic Jewish quarter for an obligatory stop at Torrefazione Stagnitta with its delicious granitas, inebriated by the scent of coffee. Next you will go back to the Quattro Canti and the Cassaro, admiring precious monuments and ending the walk by visiting two workshops specialising in two of the main arts that have made the history of Palermo: the precious and colourful Ceramics and the historic Puppet Theatre.
